The current human condition is questioned in relation to the environment in which somebody lives. The aesthetic approach follows the memory, the personal path and the “replication” of some experienced spaces or situations. Most of these ruins are interpreting traces [traces of interpretation] of everyday life suggesting a precarious balance between the necessity and the minimum of a social, intimate, personal and artistic life virtually impossible to tear to pieces.

Artistic concept:
An artist-woman in Romania: an individual subjected to a regime that deviates from the usual norms.
The calm and the mirroring water discover the existence of nonexistence.
During 2001-2008 the author (university professor, wife, mother of three children) is forced by circumstances and lives together with the family in the 16 square meters of her workshop.
The discourse of the paper/artwork is based on the description of contradictory states and the search for preserving the balance of a man in front of a daily bombardment of responsibilities (social, professional, relational, domestic). The discourse of the paper is based on the description of someone’s contradictory states and the attempt to preserve balance in front of a daily bombardment of responsibilities (social, professional, relational, domestic).
The condition and the status of the woman in current society, most often forced to assume multiple responsibilities at the same time, is questioned.
Such cases are not exceptions, but commonly encountered situations.

Concept artistic:
